This is my open letter to Rachel Navarro-Mutuc.
For years you've been with me—over a decade of love and partnership. We walk through this earth holding hands, helping each other, and building happiness together.
For years I’ve known you—your problems, your stories, your ideas, and your dreams. It is as if I have seen inside your mind. I love talking with you. I love our conversations, our debates, and the way we solve problems together.
For years, you have lived with psoriasis. I’ve seen you hurt so many times. I’ve seen the painful moments and the tears shed because you simply couldn't bear it anymore. And I have seen you smile when you finally felt relief. I have been by your side since day one.
For years, you’ve been carrying heavy burdens—from childhood trauma, from your condition, and from the daily struggles of helping our family survive and thrive. I’ve seen every moment you’ve been down. I’ve seen your exhaustion. I’ve seen your anxiety. I have witnessed it all.
For years, I was here. I was here with you. I am here for you now, and I will always be here for you. In front of God and the public, we made a promise. It is a vow I have held onto tightly for all these years.
I see you. Everything you do is never wasted. Every effort is appreciated. Every pain is shared. Every fight is fought together, and every single moment with you is treasured.
I may not always be the most vocal person, but in the background, I am always there. I live for you. I live to make you feel loved, to make you feel safe, and to bring you peace.
Everything you do is seen and etched into my heart. My life could never be complete without you, and I cannot imagine a life without you by my side.
Sharing this life with you is where I find meaning. And because of that, I am truly happy.
